Fed by high-altitude springs and streams 100 miles to the northeast, the Salt River winds down from the mountains, through Phoenix, and into the Gila River. Along its course, you’ll encounter hidden coves, rugged desert mountains, soaring bald eagles, and wild horses. As many as 500 of these magnificent animals roam the riverbanks of the lower Salt River and the shores of Saguaro Lake, often cooling in the water or grazing on lush underwater foliage.

Yes. Our pilots have extensive off-airport landing experience — it’s something we do regularly for film productions in remote locations. Every landing site is evaluated by our team for safety conditions before the flight. We’ve been operating incident-free since 2008.

Comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes are a must for any flight that includes an off-airport landing. Desert terrain can be rocky and uneven. Sunglasses are a good idea. Our cabin is fully climate-controlled, so you don’t need to worry about temperature in the air.
